You may have noticed that in a world competing for our attention, images and humour can land where tables and data don’t. With that in mind, the Planetary Boundaries Science Lab teamed up with Real Planet Earth (therealplanetearth.org), a not-for-profit creative project that imagines Planet Earth as a relatable, deadpan person confronting the absurdity of what we humans keep doing to our home, to bring about the creation of a series of nine free-to-use cartoons.
Designed for communities, scientists, schools, universities and policy makers alike, the cartoons are free to share and adapt (please credit Real Planet Earth). Let us know which is your favourite?
